DSP Tehoda, who is the second-in-command of the Commercial Crimes Unit at the Police CID Headquarters, was arraigned before court on Tuesday after the Bureau of National Investigations (BNI) cited her in their interim report on the cocaine-turned-baking soda saga.
A statement from the Directorate of Public Affairs of the Police Service and signed by its acting director, DSP Cephas Arthur, said DSP Tehoda’s interdiction was in line with the Police Administration’s regulations.
Meanwhile, the police would want to assure the general public that it would cooperate with the relevant institutions and bodies to get to the bottom of the case, the statement added.
