This follows a directive by the court on Monday, for the BNI to present her in court. The senior police officer has been in remand since she entered a not guilty plea a few weeks back.
Officials of the Bureau of National Investigations (BNI) failed to produce her before the Court when her lawyer, Oliver Dzeble filed a bail application in her stead.
In an interview on Monday, with Citi News, Mr Dzeble said: “I’ve not been able to see or speak to her till now but this morning we were in court to move the bail application for the High Court, but she was not brought to court. The court has
ordered that they bring her to court."
DSP Tehoda was arrested in connection with the alleged swapping of cocaine exhibit.
